Open Day 2017 - London's oldest allotment - third annual summer open day

We'll be opening our gates for our summer open day on Saturday 1st July between 1pm and 5pm - entrance is free.

We hope you'll join us for some tea and cake or a glass of Pimms under the shade of the old apple tree. Visitors can walk around the site and see all our wonderful allotment gardens.

Last year’s open day was a great success with over 400 people visiting London’s oldest allotments to see for themselves what goes on at the historic site dating back to 1832.

Sadly our landlord has plans to build on the allotments. You can find out more about the development here.

Come and talk to our beekeeper and taste some honey.

See the heritage plot and go inside the World War II Anderson shelter.

Visit the potager plot to see how to grow flowers and vegetables together - even in a small garden.
..or just sit and relax in our summerhouse in the shade.

See how one plotholder has made a wildlife friendly shed from recycled materials.

We'll have a plant stall where you can buy a range of vegetable plants and flowers for your garden. You will also be able to get advice on growing fruit and veg from our experienced growers.

Plus there will be a guided tour at 3pm - tickets available at the main gate.

Entrance will be FREE and dogs are allowed if kept on a lead.

Northfields Allotments are on Northfield Avenue, West Ealing,

Visitors should come to the main allotment gates at the north end of Northfield Avenue in West Ealing (opposite Dean Court).

More about this and past Open Days can be found here.  Have you signed our petition against Pathways' proposed development?  If not, please do so here.
