Our spooky spectacular of 2024

Around 3,000 adults and children took the petrifying pumpkin trail around Northfields Allotments

On October 26th, our ghoulish gates creaked open to invite in local residents for our Halloween Pumpkin Trail 2024.  This year the weather was on our side, with the rain holding off for most of the afternoon and evening.

Like last year, visitors were directed down Radbourne Avenue and entered our site at the south east gate. They were then guided up the main path, pausing for well earned refreshments by the main gate. These included a bar, BBQ and cake stall.

Attractions around the site included aliens, a witches lair, a plague doctor and more than 100 carved pumpkins, along with many devilishly decorated plots.

Our younger guests made an extra effort wearing wonderful costumes. We spotted ancient Egyptians, Marvel heroes and spooky ghouls among many others.

We had St John Ambulance on site again, but thankfully treatment was only required for a grazed knee. Our gratitude as always to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
